BLACKPINK Breaks Record For Most Subscribed Artist on YouTube

It looks like the BLINKS have done it!

BLACKPINK are officially the most popular artists on YouTube with over 65.5 million subscribers.

The K-pop icons who posted their first video on the platform back in 2016, have taken the reigns from Justin Bieber who currently has 65.1 million subscribers, followed by BTS with 57.7 million.

“We can’t believe it,” BLACKPINK said in a statement.

“It’s a miraculous moment the BLINK (fandom) made. We want to give glory to the fans around the world who always love and support us.”

The new record comes on the same day that band member, Lisa, released her debut solo project “Lalisa” and broke a record of her own too – her clip generated more than 70.3 million views in the first 24 hours since its release making it the most viewed soloist music video in YouTube history.

She’s the third member to release her own muisc with Jennie giving us “Solo” and Rosé giving us “R” in 2018. Next up, Jisoo! You can check out Lisa’s single below:
