Bon Jovi Makes it to YouTube’s Billion Views Club

The guys of Bon Jovi are celebrating after their music video for “It’s My Life” hit over one billion views on YouTube.

So now they’re part of the “Billion Views Club” – yes, it’s a thing! – alongside the creators of “Baby Shark,” Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito,” Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” and a handful of others.

The song, which was released in 2000 as part of the band’s seventh album, “Crush”, became a hit for the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and was uploaded to the streaming platform years later, in 2009.

In a video shared to Instagram, Jon Bon Jovi, clearly thrilled, thanked his band mates and collaborators:

“Makin’ history, so they tell me! A billion views of It’s My Life!”
