Daft Punk Are Hanging Up Their Helmets After 28 Years Together

The musical geniuses in the robot helmets who gave us hits like “Get Lucky” and “One More Time” have announced they’re retiring.

Thomas Bangalter and Guy Manel de Homem-Christo of Grammy-award winning electronic duo Daft Punk shared the news in a new video titled “Epilogue”.

The clip shows the pair walking through a windy desert and ends with the image of a silver and gold hand forming the shape of a triangle with the years “1993-2021” written beneath it:

A rep for the duo has confirmed to various news outlets including E! that the pair is splitting up but no other details have been provided at this stage.
