Eminem’s “Mom’s Spaghetti” Restaurant Has Opened in Detroit

The doors to Eminem’s “Mom’s Spaghetti” in Detroit are officially open.

The rapper, who named the restaurant after some of the lyrics from his 2002 mega hit “Lose Yourself,” (“His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, there’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti ” – not exactly appetising, but hey, let’s go with it) shared the news on Instagram with his 32.2 million fans.

So far, there are just four food items on the menu including spaghetti, meatballs, vegan meatballs and a spaghetti sandwich, as well as water and soft drinks.

Eminem has been doing spaghetti pop-ups since 2017 but this is his first brick-and-mortar eatery which also features a “Trailer” where customers can buy limited-edition Slim Shady merch.

In 2020, tubs of his “Mom’s Spaghetti” was donated to support doctors, nurses and other hospital staff during the pandemic.

“Our #HealthcareHeroes ‘lost themselves’ in the delicious Mom’s Spaghetti donated by Detroit’s very own, @eminem,” the Henry Ford Health System shared at the time.

The meals came with a sticker saying, “Thank you frontline caregivers.”
