(Adele holds the equivalent record for a female artists with her song ‘Easy on Me’ – that had a whopping 19 million streams on its first day of release!)

“After a little chat to Spotify, we can confirm that Harry Styles latest single, As It Was, has broken the record for most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours (male),” the Guinness World Records announced on Twitter.

The song will feature in Harry’s upcoming album, ‘Harry’s House’ which is due out in May.

This isn’t the superstar’s first time breaking a World Record – back in 2014, his band One Direction became the first act to debut at No. 1 in the USA with their first three albums.
