Madonna Becomes First Woman to Have a Top 10 Album Every Decade Since the 80s

Madonna is still smashing those glass ceilings….

The superstar who recently celebrated her 64th birthday, has once again earned a top 10 spot in the Billboard 200 album charts thanks to her latest remix compilation ‘Finally Enough Love’ which has debuted at no. 8. And that means she’s the first woman to earn the spot every single decade since the 80s!

Yep, everyone who has achieved this before her were all bands made up of men or solo male artists including AC/DC, Prince and Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney.

Her very first self-titled album reached the top 10 back in 1984. Since then she’s had a bunch of albums reach the top 10 too including ‘The Immaculate Collection’ in the 90s, ‘Hard Candy’ in the 2000s, and Madame X in the 2010s.

Way to go Madonna!
