Mariah Carey is No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 once again!
In keeping with what’s become an annual tradition, the superstar’s iconic holiday anthem “All I Want For Christmas is You” has climbed back up the charts. It’s the fourth year in a row the song, which was first released in 1994, has reached the top spot where Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero” had been sitting for the past six weeks.
“YAYYYYYY!!!!! Such an amazing surprise and an early Christmas gift!!!” Mariah posted on her Instagram stories.
Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” is No. 2 on the list this week, followed by Bobby Helms’ “Jingle Bell Rock” and Burl Ives’ “A Holly Jolly Christmas.”
This also means Mariah has extended her record for the most weeks at No. 1 overall, with her songs topping the charts for a total of 88 weeks – Rihanna comes in second on the list at 60 weeks, The Beatles at 59 and Drake at 54.
