Miley Cyrus’ ‘Flowers’ Becomes Most-Streamed Song in a Single Week in Spotify History

Miley Cyrus can buy herself flowers…. and make a little history in the process too!

Her new single “Flowers” has become the most-streamed song in a single week in Spotify history with over 100 million streams. The record was previously held by BTS whose song “Butter” racked up over 99.3 million streams in its first week (as per Variety).

“Thank you so much @Spotify and my amazing fans,” Miley posted on Twitter, addressing her record-breaking achievement.

And that’s not all…

“Flowers” is also the first song in Spotify history to maintain at least 17 million streams for 4 consecutive days. Basically, there are a whole lotta people out there listening to – and singing along with – Miley!

The single was released on January 12. It’s part of her upcoming album Endless Summer Vacation, which is due to be released on March 10.
