Don’t be fooled by the tabloids. Despite what they may like to tell you, women don’t all hate each other. It’s not a competition. And we don’t want to tear each other down.
If you take a closer look, women are supporting and celebrating each other – and today, t’s country superstar Shania Twain who is doing just that!
She’s cheering on fellow superstar Taylor Swift who has now officially replaced her as the female artist with the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album Charts – 99 whole weeks!
Shania held the previous record with 97 weeks.

In a message posted to Twitter, Shania shared her joy for Taylor:
“Let’s Go Girls!!!! Proud of you @taylorswift13. Historical records are meant to be made and then broken. The baton is meant to be passed on to new generations. Unstoppable young female country artists are 
inspite of the hurdles.”
She ended her message with the hashtag #trailblazers.
And while Tay Tay is killing it with her re-recorded albums Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version), Garth Brooks holds the over-all record with 169 weeks in the Country Albums Charts.
But back to Taylor and Shania….
What makes Taylor’s new record extra special is that she’s taking over from someone she has long admired. In fact Taylor shared an adorable TikTok last year highlighting how she “learned from the best”:
