Halyna was tragically killed by a prop firearm on the set of her movie “Rust” in New Mexico this week. The incident also left director Joel Souza in hospital with injuries.

Earlier, Matt posted a short message following his wife’s death describing her as a woman who inspired many with her “passion and vision.”

“Her legacy is too meaningful to encapsulate in words,” he wrote.

“Our loss is enormous.”
