Beyoncé & JAY-Z Support Over 60 Students Through Their “About Love Scholarship”

Earlier this year, we heard Beyoncé and JAY-Z were teaming up with Tiffany & Co to create a $2 million scholarship fund for students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

And today, their respective foundations BeyGOOD and The Shawn Carter Foundation, have announced the names of over 60 students who are receiving the support to pursue their dreams!

“Congrats to all of the recipients of The About Love Scholarship Program. We couldn’t be more proud of all of you and look forward to continuing to support your journeys and goals,” a message on BeyGOOD’s socials reads.

Applications for the scholarship – which was named after that epic Tiffany campaign the Carters took part in this year – opened last month and have been specifically awarded to students facing financial hardships who are pursuing degrees in the arts at five schools including Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, Norfolk State University in Virginia, Bennett College in North Carolina, the University of AR-Pine Bluff in Arkansas and Central State University in Ohio.

The About Love Scholarship is the latest in a long line of philanthropic efforts by the Carters who’ve donated millions through their charitable foundations to education, disaster relief, safe water programs, Black-owned small businesses and COVID-19 relief.
