We officially have our Violet Sorrengail and Xaden Riorson!
Days after it was leaked that Esther McGregor and Emilio Sakraya had been cast as leads in the adaptation of Rebecca Yarros' best-selling novel, Fourth Wing, Prime Video has confirmed it.
The streamer shared a post on socials with photos of the duo and the caption, "Our lightning wielder and wingleader are ready to fly."
Both Esther and Emilio also confirmed the casting news on their Instagram stories - Esther saying she's "so beyond excited. Honoured. Thrilled." And Emilio sending the internet into meltdown by sharing a quote from the book: "My home. My chair. My woman."
I mean.... if ya know, ya know...
Prime Video has also shared a brief description of what we can expect: "Violet Sorrengail is forced by her mother to enter the brutal world of Basgiath War College... Violet joins hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders."
The series was confirmed earlier this year with Yarros serving as executive producer alongside Michael B. Jordan.
