Beyoncé hinted a new project was in the works in May last year, and now it’s been revealed – the superstar has launched Cécred, her new hair care line!
In a post on Instagram, the 32-time GRAMMY-winning artist told her 319 million fans, “Hair is sacred. The journey begins Feb 20.”
And while no details about the products have been released yet, Beyoncé did share a clip of a projected video showing throwbacks from the 90s of her mother Tina Knowles’ salon. It also included current footage of Beyoncé herself and others getting their hair washed, brushed and styled.
She then posted a link to cecred.com where fans can enter their email to stay up-to-date with any news.

Beyoncé first teased a possible hair care line last year when she shared a three-part carousel on Instagram. It began with a photo of herself curling her long luscious locks in front of a vanity mirror followed by a photo of young Beyoncé having her hair braided. In the third pic, the superstar shared a note:
“How many of y’all know that my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand, how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
