Rihanna Appoints New Savage X Fenty CEO to Expand Business

Rihanna has big plans to expand her Savage X Fenty lingerie brand.

The superstar, philanthropist and soon-to-be mum-of-two will step down as CEO of the hugely successful company. Hillary Super, the former CEO at Anthropologie Group will take over the position from 26 June, as confirmed by Vogue Business.

“It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years,” Rihanna shared in a statement with the publication.

“This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer. I’m so grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as our new CEO – she is a strong leader and is focused on taking the business to an even higher level.”

Ms. Super has previously held top positions at a number of major companies including Guess, Gap and American Eagle, so yes, she’s certainly knows her stuff!

In a statement to Vogue Business, she says she’s thrilled to join the Savage X Fenty family: “The brand is a major powerhouse in the lingerie and apparel industry, and its unwavering commitment to celebrating inclusivity and fearlessness is inspiring.”

One of her aims is to establish more brick and mortar stores to reach more consumers.

Rihanna co-founded the lingerie brand in 2018, distinguishing it from other brands through its diverse use of models and electrifying fashion shows.  She has been its CEO since its inception. Along with her Fenty Beauty brand, and of course her distinguished music career, the company is credited with helping her achieve billionaire status in 2022.

And despite now stepping down from the position, it’s understood Rihanna will continue to hold a leadership role within Savage X Fenty.
