He beat a bad case of COVID-19 and now Daniel Dae Kim is doing his bit to help others who are battling the virus.
The Hawaii Five-0 actor has shared a post on social media explaining that he’s donated his plasma and is urging his fans who may be able to help, to do the same.
“Glad to be able to donate in the hopes that the antibodies that I’ve built up will help others in their fight against COVID-19,” he says alongside a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed holding up a bag of his plasma.
“If you were sick, but have tested negative and 14 days have passed since you last exhibited symptoms, or you tested positive but have been symptom-free for 28 days, I hope you’ll please consider making a plasma donation as well.”
Earlier this month, the actor auctioned off his Hawaii Five-0 scripts, signed by the original cast, to help raise funds for hospitals in Hawaii and abroad:
