Jeremy Renner has shared an update from his hospital bed….
Taking to Instagram, the Marvel actor shared a photo of himself in a hospital bed with grazes and bruises on one side of his face and a tube in his nose after being involved in a snow ploughing accident on New Year’s Day.
“Thank you all for your kind words,” he captioned the pic.
“Im (sic) too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”
Washoe Country Sherriff Darin Balaam explained during a press conference earlier this week that Jeremy was run over by his snowcat after it started to roll while he was out of the driver’s seat, describing it as a “tragic accident.”
According to Jeremy’s publicist, Samantha Mast, Jeremy had been moving snow from his driveway so that members of his family could leave his place in Reno, Nevada after spending the holidays together.
He remains in intensive care in hospital after suffering “blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries.”
His family also released a statement to “express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him” as well as the local authorities involved – and Jeremy’s millions of fans for their “outpouring of love and support.”
