Fans all over the world are sending Shannen Doherty their love after the actress revealed that she’s battling breast cancer once again.
The Beverly Hills 90210 star made the announcement during an interview with Good Morning America on Tuesday. She had been in remission after an earlier diagnosis in 2015 and is now fighting stage 4 cancer:
Shannen says she’s been quietly dealing with the devastating news while mourning the death of her Beverly Hills co-star and friend Luke Perry and filming the show’s reboot “BH90210” with fellow cast members Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling and Jason Priestley.
“It was so weird for me to be diagnosed and then somebody who was seemingly healthy to go first,” she tells Good Morning America.
“It was really shocking and the least I could do to honour him was do that show. I still haven’t done enough in my opinion.”
“I don’t think I’ve processed it. It’s a bitter pill to swallow in a lot of ways.” #ShannenDoherty revealed on @GMA that her cancer has returned. https://t.co/C8kRRd6lih
