Celebs say NO to bullying

Sometimes, the internet really is bloody amazing.

A dad from West Yorkshire, England recently took to Twitter asking people to send his son positive messages for his birthday. Ollie, who is turning 9, has been having a hard time with a bully. His dad, Christopher, wanted to make sure this bully didn’t ruin Ollie’s special day:

The tweet continues: “The bully keeps saying to him that everything O has, he has bigger/better/more often. O excited for his birthday but keeps being told it won’t be as good as his own. I would be so grateful and appreciate it is an odd request. Just would love someone to tell him he does mean something & bullying is not ok, ever. O I admit has his moments but seeing this other boy get away with this is harrowing. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Thank you”
And can you guess what happened next? The internet EXPLODED with love and support for Ollie. YES, EXPLODED. There were messages from Ellen, Arnie, Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Sherzinger, the entire Manchester United team and many more. Some, even included invitations to special events, sporting matches and rides in fancy cars!

All amazing messages, though I think Mark Hammill says it best with his tweet:
