38 years after Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was unleashed on our lives becoming one of the most iconic and loved films in history, co-stars Harrison Ford and Ke Huy Quan have reunited!
Quan, who was was a child in the film, portraying the character “Short Round”, shared a sweet photo of the moment on Instagram after crossing paths with Ford at Disney’s D23 Expo on the weekend.
“‘I love you Indy’,” he captioned the pic – one of Short Round’s lines from the movie.
He adds, “Indian Jones and Short Round reunited after 38 years.”

The film was released back in 1984 when Quan was 12 years old. He later appeared in a handful of other films including the 80’s classic The Goonies and the 2022 film, Everything Everwhere All At Once.
A new Indiana Jones film is due to be released in 2023 – and while we’re all hoping for a cameo from Quan, there’s no word on whether he’ll be a part of the production.
