Hollywood celebrities are among thousands of sexual assault survivors sharing heartbreaking stories on social media about why they didn’t report their attackers straight away. The #WhyIDidntReport hashtag started in response to a tweet by US President Donald Trump questioning whether Dr Christine Blasey Ford was ever really sexually assaulted by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh: “If the attack on Dr Ford was as bad as she says, charges would have been immediately filed with local Law Enforcement Authorities by either her or her loving parents.”
