The Hollywood stars are doing their bit to support families across the U.S. and Canada who are facing food insecurity during the pandemic.

According to an Insta post by Food Banks Canada, Blake and Ryan have made a $500,000 donation to their COVID-19 relief fund.  And this isn’t the first time.

In early 2020, the couple donated the same amount to support the orgnaisation’s hunger relief work and inspired thousands of Canadians to donate what they can too.

“Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude ONCE AGAIN to Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively for pledging another $500k in support of our COVID-19 Response Funds!” it reads on the non-profit’s Instagram page.

“You continue to be not only our favourite Canadian, but also our favourite superhero. (Sorry, Hugh Jackman).”

And yes, of course Ryan responded to that last bit about his faux frenemy: “Never apologise to Hugh Jackman.”
