Camilla Delivers Paddington Bears Left for The Late Queen to Children Cared For By Barnardo’s

Camilla, the Queen Consort, has brought a smile to the faces of children at an east London nursery, handing out dozens of Paddington Bear toys!

The sweet plushies were among hundreds left by the public outside Buckingham Palace and at mourning sites around London following Queen Elizabeth II’s passing in September. They were collected and professionally cleaned, with the Palace choosing to donate them all to children cared for by the Barnardo’s charity.

Joined by Paddington film stars Hugh Bonneville and Madeleine Harris, Camilla shared marmalade sandwiches with the kids at the Barnardo’s Nursery in Bow after handing out the teddies.

“It has been a pleasure to find a home for these bears,” the Queen Consort told them.

“Please look after them carefully!”
