This year alone we’ve seen Chef Jose Andres and his team at World Central Kitchen deliver millions of meals to people struggling through the pandemic, those impacted by wildfires, hurricanes and other natural disasters and the people of Beirut after a deadly explosion.
As his teams continue to set up temporary kitchens and feed people across the world, today, they’re also giving back to first responders across America in remembrance of September 11.
“They are always there to take care of our communities and our families….We are always there bringing hope one plate a time,” Chef Jose says in a video posted to Instagram.

The delivery included 5,000 nourishing meals to first responders in his hometown of Washington D.C, personally delivered by Chef Jose Andres himself.
