Supermodel and maternal health advocate Christy Turlington Burns is celebrating her 16th wedding anniversary with actor and director Edward Burns.
16 years! That’s an eternity in Hollywood years. (No pun intended, but are those 90s Calvin Klein Eternity ads coming back to you now?)
The pair tied the knot in San Francisco on the 7th of June back in 2003 when Christy was pregnant with their daughter Grace. They have a son, Finn, as well.

Christy says on her Insta account, it’s been the “sweetest 16 years” of her life full of “intrigue and surprise” and she “can’t wait for many, many, many more.”

And here’s a fun fact for you: Christy’s sister Kelly Turlington is married to Ed’s brother, Brian Burns!

In those 16 years, Christy has also started her own foundation, Every Mother Counts to ensure women and girls have access to safe health care during delivery and pregnancy no matter where the are in the world. She’s also re-appeared in the Calvin Klein Eternity ads in 2014 and in the same year named in TIME 100’s list of the most Influential People in the world.
