The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been doing their bit to help out during the coronavirus crisis.

According to Richard Ayoub, the Executive Director of Project Angel Food, the couple has been volunteering with the organisation over Easter to deliver meals to people in Los Angeles who are too sick to cook for themselves.

“On Wednesday they quietly continued delivering meals to relieve our overworked drivers. It was their way to thank our volunteers, chefs and staff who have been working tirelessly since the COVID-19 crisis began,” Ayoub explains in an Instagram post:

The organisation, originally started by Marianne Williamson in 1989, delivers over 600,000 meals to people in need ever year.

According to Today, the couple are also donating $112,000 in profits from the BBC broadcast of their 2018 wedding to Feeding Britain, to help relieve food insecurity in the UK.
