Gisele Bündchen is supporting children and youth in Miami with a generous donation to a new children’s shelter.
The supermodel has gifted $1 million to fund the development of a playground as well as youth programs at the new Children’s Village being built at Lotus House, a safe space for homeless women.
“I have no words to express my gratitude for places like the @lotushouseshelter, the largest women’s shelter in America, as they provide a haven that allows women and children to heal, reclaim their lives, and build a foundation for the future,” Gisele writes on Instagram, after attending the site to break ground this week.

More recently, Gisele opened up about her divorce from retired NFL star Tom Brady after 13 years of marriage. In a March, 2023 interview with Vanity Fair, she used the analogy of a dream to describe her emotions:
“It’s tough because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way and you did everything you could, you know? I believed in fairy tales when I was a kid. I think it’s beautiful to believe in that. I mean, I’m so grateful I did…. You give everything you got to achieve your dream. You give a hundred per cent of yourself, and it’s heartbreaking when it doesn’t end up the way you hope for, and worked for, but you can only do your part.”
Gisele and Tom share two children together, 13-year-old Benjamin and 10 year-old Vivian.
