A German tourist who turned in a credit card he randomly found on an Italian beach to police, has had the opportunity to meet the card’s famous owner – Harrison Ford!
The 79-year-old Hollywood star had misplaced the card while filming the latest instalment of his Indiana Jones franchise in Sicily.
And according to a translated statement made by police to local media, he was pretty relieved to get it back: “When the police officer and two policemen showed him and returned his belongings, the actor smiled, relieved of all the prevented damage and happy to know a place as beautiful as it is honest.”
So when Simon Milewski, the decent human who did the right thing and handed the card in, asked police if he might be able to meet the Indiana Jones star himself, it seems the actor agreed.
“I stood in the police station and asked..if I could meet him somewhere if he wanted to say thank you or something,” a translated message from Simon reads on his Insta stories.
“They sent me to this restaurant where he was going for lunch,” he added.
And while Simon didn’t go into any details about what was said between them, he did get a selfie with Harrison, holding the very credit card he returned!
He also mentions earlier that he thought the card was “probably not real” but boy was he wrong, lols.
Moral of the story: Do good … and you might get to meet Harrison Ford?
