Imagine getting a FaceTime call from Jason Momoa! (I’ll give you a moment.)
Well that is exactly what happened to 7-year-old Danny Sheehan, who melted all our hearts after a video of him opening a new Aquaman action figure went viral this week.
“OH MY GOSH, IT’S MY FAVOURITE ONE!” Danny squealed in the video followed by the most jubilant “AQUAMAAAAAAAAAAN!” you’ve ever heard:
Well, Jason found out about Danny’s beautiful reaction – and that he’s having chemotherapy for Pineoblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer.
So he called his superfan and gave him the surprise of his life.
“Hi Aquaman! I’m so excited!” Danny said when he answered the Facetime call.
“You are so beautiful. You’re excited? I’m excited!” replied Jason.

“I’ve been hearing about you all over from all of my friends and I wanted to call you and say hi and see how you’re doing.”
They talked about dolphins and how Danny had never seen one in real life so of course, Aquaman promised to “make that happen.”

Jason also encouraged his 15 million followers to contribute to Danny’s GoFundMe page to support his treatment and care.
“My mom heart is bursting with joy, thankfulness and love,” Danny’s mum, Natalie shared in a Facebook post after the call.
“Thank you for making this call and for making Danny the happiest little boy ever – he can’t wait to ride dolphins with AQUAMAN!”
