The Jonas Brothers recently performed their song “Little Bird” – and it was an extra special rendition of the song because they dedicated it to a fan in the audience whose daughter had passed away.
Kevin, Joe and Nick were on stage in Toronto on Saturday evening when Joe noticed the young woman. She was holding a sign that read, “Dedicate Little Bird To My Angel In Heaven.”
In footage posted online by concertgoers, the guys can be seen pausing the show to speak to the mum who was from Mexico, asking for her daughter’s name. She replies, “Valentina” which made Kevin particularly emotional as he also has a little girl with the same name. The eldest Jonas brother put his hand on his chest at this point, and can later be seen wiping tears from his eyes.
As they begin to perform the song, Joe gives the fan a big hug then touchingly announces, “this one’s for Valentina, okay?”

“Little Bird” was originally written for the Jonas brothers’ children. Kevin and Danielle Jonas are parents to two girls, Valentina, as mentioned before, and Alena. Nick and Priyanka Chopra have 1-year-old daughter, Malti, and Joe and Sophie Turner are parents to two children whose names have not been publicly shared.
The beloved brothers kicked off their tour in New York on August 12 and have had the support of their families during their shows. In an Instagram reel shared on the Jonas Brothers’ official account Priyanka, Danielle and Sophie can be seen holding their husbands’ hands as the singers make their way to the stage.
Priyanka also shared some behind-the-scenes pics from their first night at Yankee Stadium, describing the band as “seamless and awe-inspiring” and letting fans know they were in for an awesome ride ahead!
The Jonas Brothers are currently touring North America and Canada. They’ll continue their international leg of the tour next year.
