Kate Winslet is not only a badass who can hold her breath underwater for 7 minutes and 14 seconds, but also a down-to-earth legend of a human who’s made a young reporter’s first interview one she’ll never forget!
The Hollywood star recently spoke to a girl named Martha, who was representing a German broadcaster during a press junket for Avatar: The Way of Water. At the start of their chat, Martha shared that it was her “first time”doing an interview and of course, Kate was full of encouragement.
“It’s going to be the amazing interview,” Kate tells her in a a now viral video posted to Twitter.
“And do you know why? Because we’ve decided that it’s going to be. We’ve decided right now, me and you, that this is going to be a really fantastic interview,” she continues.
“You can ask me anything you want, and you don’t have to be scared. Everything’s gonna be amazing. Okay. You’ve got this.”
Kate went on to answer a number of Martha’s questions about cooking, acting and filming inside water tanks for Avatar 2.
The pair even snapped a selfie together at the end of the chat!
