Kylie Jenner may be busy posting cute selfies of herself and Stormi in isolation…but she’s also doing some random acts of kindness behind the scenes that she’s not posting about publicly.
The reality star and businesswoman has quietly made a donation of US $1 million to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles to help buy masks and protective gear.
Doctor Thais Aliabadi, a physician at the centre, revealed the great news on her Instagram page:
“I made a wish to the Universe to gather protective masks for our brave healthcare workers and today my dream came true,” Dr Aliabadi begins.
“One of my patients, a beautiful Living Angel just donated $1,000,000 to help us buy hundreds of thousands of masks, face shields and other protective gear which we have delivered directly to our first responders.”
“From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU @kyliejenner. you are my hero. This generous donation will help save many precious lives. Our world is a better place with you in it,” Dr Aliabadi ends her caption.
Kylie isn’t the only celebrity who has donated to coronavirus response efforts: Angelina Jolie recently made a $1 million donation to help feed children impacted by school closures while Rihanna’s foundation donated $5 million to support non-profit organisations working in Haiti, Malawi and around the world.
