Megan Thee Stallion has helped out the family of a late fan, Shaniah Leigh Scales, by making a generous contribution to their funeral costs.
The Grammy-winning rapper was contacted by Shaniah’s friend through a public message on Twitter explaining how much they loved the singer:
“Meg, we lost a hottie, our best friend passed away unexpectedly. They absolutely loved you, listening to ur songs was something we did every time we were together. We’re helping their family w funeral costs. We started gofundme & are halfway there.”
The “WAP” singer replied asking, “How much do y’all need?” and found out they were still short about $8,000.

Not long after, a donation of $8,155 was made to Shaniah’s Gofundme page, under the name of “Megan Pete.”
“WE HIT THE GOAL,” Shaniah’s friend shared on Twitter, tagging Megan and thanking her so much for helping out.
“FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!! I AM CRYING, SO FULL OF EMOTIONS.”
So are we. So. Are. We.
