Megan Thee Stallion Launches Foundation to Support Women, Children, Seniors & More

Megan Thee Stallion is celebrating her 27th trip around the sun in a very meaningful way – the rap star has announced the launch of her very own foundation which aims to support women, children, seniors and people living in underserved communities.

It’s called the Pete and Thomas Foundation, named after her parents Joseph Pete Jr and Holly Thomas.

“My family raised me to help others and give back, so I’m incredibly proud to be in a position to accomplish that goal. I have a responsibility to use my platform to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who may not have access to resources and support services,” Megan shared in a press release.

The nonprofit organisation will focus on providing scholarships and school supplies to boost education, addressing food insecurity and housing needs for seniors and families struggling financially or those impacted by natural disasters as well as mental health and wellness issues.

In a video posted to Instagram sharing photos of her family members, Megan says, “I really wanted to make my mom proud. I really wanted to make my grandma proud. I wanted to make myself proud.”
