Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher Launch New Wine to Benefit Charities They Love

Remember last year when Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher created their “Quarantine Wine”  to benefit COVID-19 response charities? Well, it did so well (we’re talking a million dollars kind of well) that they’re at it again.

But this time, they’re launching a new brand called “Outside Wine” to raise money for Ashton’s own anti-human trafficking organisation Thorn, skateboarding legend Tony Hawke’s Skatepark Project and various other charities they believe are doing good for the world.

In a rather hilarious announcement video shared on Instagram, Ashton introduces the new wine in a slightly french, slightly Borat-like accent:

“Bonjour! Comment allez-vous? It is I, Ashton Kutcher at Chateau Fancy As F***.”

In between the random accent, some laughter – and even snorts from Mila – Ashton eventually gets to explaining that they’ve been inspired by the philanthropy of late Hollywood icon Paul Newman:

“I’ve always been a huge fan of Paul Newman. Not only was he an unbelievable, extraordinary actor but he used his position and he used his celebrity in vain to do some extraordinary good in the world through his Newman’s Own project.”

Yep, you know that Paul Newman’s pasta sauce you love? All the money raised goes to a good cause.

Ashton also points out that since the whole “Quarantine Wine” was such a success, it seemed only logical to continue making wine while benefiting more charities.

“So we’ve come up with this concept called Outside Wine,” Ashton explains holding up a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon he and Mila have created with winemaker Sean Boyd and the team at Nocking Point Wines.

“We partnered with someone else that I admire called Tony Hawke who has this skate park project and builds skateparks for kids so all of the profits are for this and Thorn. And every three months we’re going to add another charity from someone we know who is doing something extraordinary so we can continue to give.”

What makes this particular wine even cooler, is that as you pour and get to the end of the bottle, a label becomes visible so you can see which charity the bottle you just consumed is supporting.
