Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliot is on a Twitter kindness spree and her latest act of generosity is a pretty special one.
The hip hop legend recently came across a post from a random stranger who was crowd-funding for her dream wedding dress.
Ireanna Bradshaw explained that she’d been trying to save up, but couldn’t afford the $1,300 price tag.
“I never thought I’d find a love like this and never thought someone would want to marry me. With all my previous insecurities – I didn’t think I was worthy of love. Loving myself made me ready for love. I would be so grateful to have some support: anything would help,” she wrote, also sharing her CashApp username in the hopes that the Twitterverse would come through for her.
And they did.
Or she did, I should say.
Missy Elliot saw the post and covered the cost of the dress.
Im getting Married in March &trying to move into our own place. Excited but overwhelmed. I have been saving money; but its still a struggle. I found my dream dress and I want to get it so bad but between saving for the move- i dnt think it will be possible….. pic.twitter.com/OO6GftGZbK— I R E A N N A (@mynamesireanna) November 17, 2020
“I don’t know you but I saw you said the dress of your dreams & figured I would help when I saw you post ya cash app. May blessings pour on your beautiful wedding day with your future husband,” the superstar wrote on Twitter.
A few days earlier, the superstar took some time to give advice to a random Twitter user who was sharing his song on the platform and asking for feedback:
“Catchy. Turn your ad libs down in the back in the future because you don’t want your ad libs to overpower your lead vocal….but nice lil vibe.”
And another Twitter user shared that Missy Elliot paid for his dog’s eye surgery.
May God Bless your dog🙏🏾 I been looking for you for a while on Twitter to see how your dog been doing since the surgery I pray all is well with your fur baby🤗🙏🏾💜 https://t.co/gDu7oMURJo— Missy Elliott (@MissyElliott) November 18, 2020
“I am so thankful to be blessed so I can be a blessing to someone else,” the superstar posted in response to her viral acts of kindness.
“Blessings are given to never just keep for yourself but to help others.”
We couldn’t agree more!
