PRINCE JACKSON HELPS FEED 300 FAMILIES IN SOUTH L.A. AHEAD OF THANKSGIVING

Prince Jackson has spent part of his weekend volunteering with his Heal Los Angeles Foundation at their annual “Turkey Giveaway” event.

The 23-year-old who founded the non-profit to support inner-city youth and struggling families, helped hand out bags of food at the Gospel Mission Baptists Church in South L.A.

The bags each contained a turkey, green beans, corn, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy and a pumpkin pie.

“Over 300 families in South LA were served at this year’s Turkey Giveaway!” it says on the Heal Los Angeles Instagram page, along with a series of photos of Prince distributing the meals.

And yes, it was a COVID-safe event with volunteers wearing masks and a “drive thru” system set up for those picking up their meals.

The Turkey drive is just one of many events the Heal Los Angeles Foundation has held to give back to the community.

Each Wednesday they distribute free meals to anyone who needs it. They’ve also been providing nourishing bento boxes and other packed lunches to hospital and hospice staff during the pandemic and earlier this year they held a “back to school giveaway” where they handed out backpacks full of school supplies, masks and food.
