Rainn Wilson Shares Heartfelt Note From ‘The Office’ Fan

The Office may’ve ended in 2013, but the impact the sitcom has had on audiences is clearly unforgettable – just ask star Rainn Wilson who recently received an incredibly moving note from a fan….

The actor, who portrayed the iconic Dwight Schrute on the show, took to social media to post a photo of the note, written on a napkin. He received it while travelling through Portland International Airport:

“The Office got me through some of the darkest days of my life. I can’t thank you enough for that.”

The note was signed by a flight attendant named Melanie from Alaska Airlines.

“I didn’t even see who dropped this on my lap at the PDX airport, but I greatly appreciate the sentiment, flight attendant Melanie of Alaska Airlines,” Rainn captioned a picture of the note. “So humbled to be a part of a show that affected, touched, comforted and inspired. And continues to do. It’s so f***ing rare. A continuous thank you to the whole Office family, cast, writers, crew and especially AUDIENCE!”

Rainn casually added, “this not an open invitation to give me notes on napkins!”
