Nick de la Hoyde is a talented singer, songwriter and rapper whose music has been streamed millions of times across the globe. But if you ask any TikTok user, he’s also a megastar on the platform who’s going viral because of his kindness.
Yes, kindness.
The Aussie musician has been sharing videos of himself making rings for random TikTok users who are struggling with depression, loneliness and pain – or maybe they’re just having a bad day.
He wants to let them know they matter. To let them know there’s hope and to just keep going.
“I know something as small as a ring isn’t going to fix how they’re feeling,” he tells the CelebrityKind podcast.
“I like to think of the rings as like, not just a piece of jewellery but like, a bit of hope, that you know, you never know what can happen. And something random might happen around the corner and the rings are random. And I just think that that’s what makes them special,” he tells the CelebrityKind podcast.

Nick hasn’t always been making the rings. It’s a hobby he picked up during the pandemic lockdown of 2020, when he taught himself to turn “vintage old cutlery” into rings.
“It’s honestly been so fun. It’s become a part of my life that I didn’t know existed.”
