Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher are the latest celebrities to step up and support health workers on the front line of the coronavirus crisis.
The couple teamed up with Salesforce chief and entrepreneur Marc Benioff and Mailforce, a charity started by the Daily Mail, to send a planeload of supplies from China to hospital staff in the UK.
The shipment included 50,000 items of protective clothing and 100,000 masks.
“Isla and I are so happy to have such persistent and generous partners in getting this done,” Cohen tweeted after Benioff shared a photo of the supplies on social media.
This week, Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem donated over 150,000 masks to hospitals in Spain while Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis launched an Official Quarantine Wine with proceeds going to support hospital stuff and feed struggling families.
