It’s back to socially distanced schooling for kids in Los Angeles and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are doing their bit to make that transition as smooth as possible.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have spent some time volunteering with Baby2Babyan organisation that provides families and children living in poverty with essentials likes clothes, food and hygiene items. It also happens to be one of the charities they chose to support to celebrate Archie’s birth in 2019.

The pair handed out books, school supplies and brand new backpacks at a drive-through distribution event held at Knox Elementary in South L.A.

“Thank you to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for joining our team to help us distribute school supplies, clothing, hygiene items, food and more to children who need these basic essentials more than ever during this unprecedented back to school season,” it reads in a post by Baby2Baby on Instagram.

Earlier this year the couple helped Los Angeles charity, Project Angel Food, deliver meals to the elderly, took part in Homeboy Industries’ #feedhope program where they worked with reformed gang members to prepare meals for vulnerable communities and even popped up in surprise video conference calls to help spread a little joy.
