THE ROCK HELPS DELIVER NEW XBOX CONSOLES TO CHILDREN’S HOSPITALS ACROSS AMAERICA

20 years after Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson teamed up with Microsoft to introduce the first XBox console to the world, he’s teaming up with them again – and it’s for a good cause!

In a video posted to social media, the Hollywood star says he’s not only launching the latest sleek-looking console (called the XBOX Series X) but he’s also collaborated with the tech giant to create 20 special edition consoles – with his name on it – that will be delivered to children’s hospitals across America.

“We are teaming up with a charitable organisation called Gamers Outreach,” he says in the video.

“Gamers Outreach is this awesome organisation that provides video games and software to help kids cope with their stays in hospitals as they are getting their treatment and fighting the good fight.”

The consoles are expected to reach an estimated 50,000 kids.

“Me being an avid gamer, I just remember the nights when I would stay up all night long and I would just get my ass kicked playing games,” he laughs.

He ends by thanking Microsoft boss Bill Gates for allowing him to help bring smiles to so many kids through the years – the video even features some youthful throwbacks of the pair! See for yourself:
