THERE’S A FOO FIGHTERS TACO AND PROFITS SUPPORT UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS

It’s been a big year for the Foo Fighters.

They’ve announced their new album Medicine At Midnight. Dave Grohl had that epic drum battle with 10-year-old Nandi Bushell. And now? They have their own taco!

The band has joined forces with Casa Vega Restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California, to launch the specialty taco which comes in a flour tortilla with smoked brisket, Mexican slaw, red pickled onions and BBQ sauce.

And according to Dave, they’re “REALLY f**king good!!”

There’s also a cocktail named after them made of La Gritona Reposado tequila, Modelo Especial beer and fresh lime juice.

The best part about this collab is that the profits from each taco and drink sold are being donated to the LA based non-profit No Us Without You which is working to provide food security for undocumented, back-of-house restaurant workers and their families.

“Undocumented hospitality workers are the backbone of the hospitality industry. they are unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and are not eligible for unemployment benefits even though they’re taxed every paycheck,” it reads on the organisation’s website.
