Dan Levy’s mum is, no doubt, one proud woman after her son hosted Saturday Night Live for the very first time.
But it’s what she tweeted hours before the Schitt’s Creek star and creator took to the stage that everyone is talking about.
In her message – which has gone viral within hours of posting – Deborah Divine writes:
“This goes out to the bully punks at Camp WTF who made life miserable for a certain cabin-mate back in the summer of ’96 – just because he was different. Well, after all these years I have just 7 words to say to you: “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!”

She added a red heart emoji and tagged Dan in the post too, who responded with “Moms” and a red heart emoji of his own.
Moms. ♥️ https://t.co/QC5n2ChfpY

This isn’t the first time mama has had a tweet go viral. Remember back in April last year, when she shared the sweetest message to mark the Schitt’s Creek series finale?
“Today I regret every single second of worry back in the uninformed 80s – wondering how the world was going to treat my brilliant little boy who loved to twirl. Little did I know that he was going to kick that old world’s ass to the curb and create a brand new one.”
All the crying face emojis. She really is the best.
