Veteran actor John Aniston, who we all knew and loved as Victor Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives, has passed away.
His daughter Jennifer Aniston shared the sad news in a post on Instagram:
“Sweet papa… John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace — and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now 🕊️I’ll love you till the end of time.”

John, who starred in Days of Our Lives for more than three decades, received the Emmy for Lifetime Achievement this year. He also had roles in a number of TV series including Gilmore Girls, Mad Men and The West Wing.
In a tribute post, the official Days of Our Lives Instagram account shared a sweet video highlighting his time on the series:
“Our hearts are broken over the loss of our beloved family member, John Aniston. We love you John, your legend will live on.”
He was 89.
