Friends, colleagues and fans of Tiger Woods are sending him their well wishes after the golf star was involved in a terrible car accident in Los Angeles.
The LA County Sherriff’s Department released a statement on Twitter confirming they responded to “a single vehicle roll-over traffic collision” where “the vehicle sustained major damage”. They also confirmed the “driver and sole occupant was identified as PGA golfer, Eldrick “Tiger” Woods.”

He had to be extracted from the wreck with the “jaws of life” and was transported to hospital by ambulance for his injuries.
According to a statement from his agent Mark Steinberg, Tiger “suffered multiple leg injuries” and is now in surgery.
Fellow professional golfer Justin Thomas was among those sending his well wishes to Tiger:
“Sick to my stomach right now. Praying for Tiger Woods and hoping for an amazing recovery. Thinking about his entire family and team, as all of us are sending our best wishes. We know TW is a fighter. Get well soon!!!”
Red Table host Jada Pinkett Smith posted a message for the “GOAT” on Twitter too. She writes: “Was just with him yesterday. Don’t take not even a MOMENT for granted! I know you’re good because your Tiger within is a beast!!!”

Superstar Cher simply tweeted: “Saying prayers for Tiger Woods.”
Former boxing champion Mike Tyson wrote: “Fight Tiger Woods like the champion you are for your kids and the world. Love and prayers.”
Actor Kevin Hart who was in a terrible car accident himself in 2019 says he’s “sending a special prayer out to Tiger Woods & his family. Praying for a speedy recovery.”

Basketball icon Magic Johnson tweeted: “Everyone send your prayers out to Tiger Woods! He was just in a bad car accident. Let us all pray for his speedy recovery.”
A statement form the PGA Tour has also been released saying they’re aware of the situation:
“We are awaiting further information when he comes out of surgery. On behalf of the PGA Tour and our players, Tiger is in our prayers and will have our full support as he recovers.”
