Jessie J’s baby has arrived!
The award-winning singer and “Price Tag” hitmaker has revealed she’s welcomed a baby boy, her first child after experiencing pregnancy loss in 2021. Sharing the news in her Instagram stories on May 19, she writes:
“A week ago my whole life changed. My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love.”
She continues, “He is magic. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole [world emoji] He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can’t believe he is real, mine and here *happy tears* For all of you that have followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all your continued love and support.”
She ends her message explaining that she’ll return to social media when she is ready.

Jessie hasn’t shared details of her baby’s name just yet. She has been very open with her 13 million fans on Instagram about her pregnancy journeys though. She first announced this pregnancy in January, sharing a moving video set to her song, “Sunflower”.
“I am so happy and terrified to finally share this,” she captioned the clip of herself at the time, showing her growing belly and a positive pregnancy test.

Since then, she’s shared little updates with her fans including her last one on May 5 where she posted about being on the “home stretch”, sharing a series of black and white photos of herself at home. “I don’t want no fancy fancy pictures, no retouching. I want to look back at these and remember this time exactly as I looked and felt,” she captioned one of her posts.
One year earlier, she had shared her experience of pregnancy loss in the hope of helping others who may be experiencing similar.
