Mother, wife, actress and former model Kelly Preston has passed away after battling breast cancer.
She was 57 years old.
Husband John Travolta released a statement on social media announcing the sad news:
“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly lost her two-year battle with breast cancer,” he writes.
“She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many,” he continues before thanking her doctors and nurses for all their hard work.
They had been married almost 29 years and had three children together: Jett Travolta who passed away in 2009 at age 16, 9 year old son Benjamin and 20-year-old daughter Ella Travolta who’s also posted a message on social media:
“I have never met anyone as courageous, strong, beautiful and loving as you. Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree that you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine and that makes anyone around you feel instantly happy. Thank you for being there for me no matter what.”
