It’s a special day for Kurt Russell…
The Hollywood star is celebrating his 70th birthday and his family is making sure he feels the love!
Let’s start with his long-time partner Goldie Hawn, who posted a beautiful tribute to the love of her life on Instagram:
“What a wild ride,” she begins, sharing an old video of them presenting together at an awards show.

“No, we never got married but one thing that continues to grow is our love. You’re a wild one, brilliant, loveable, childlike, perfectly maddening, a father supreme and deeply funny,” Goldie continues.
“I can’t imagine my life without you at any age, Kurt Russell. You’re the catch. And you’re all mine.”

Goldie’s daughter and fellow Hollywood star Kate Hudson also shared a heart-felt message about the man she calls “dad”:
“I’m gonna gush cause I don’t often about this man but I figure since today he turns 70, I’m gonna let it out,” she begins.

“I often wonder how different our life would have been if he never entered the picture. How different I would be,” Kate says of Kurt who came into her and brother Oliver Hudson’s life when she was 4 and he was 7.
“He’s a pick up your boot straps kinda dad. Don’t cry, shake it off you’re ok, kinda dad. Don’t let ’em push you around, you got this, kinda dad. Don’t listen to the noise you’re doing great, kinda dad. Shake those hips like no one’s watching kinda dad. Always get back on the horse, kinda dad. Never miss a show or game, kinda dad. Kids before anything, kinda dad. My girl can rule the world, kinda dad.”
Kate describes him as “an original. One of a kind. A powerful, intelligent, talented, loyal family man” who has taught her to “live with immense love through our differences.”
She also praises Kurt and Goldie, who’ve been together since 1983, for their love that’s “as admirable as it gets.”
“When you have a dad who gives you permission to be confident, you live courageously,” she adds before wishing her “Pa” a happy birthday.
