Actress Lily Collins and director Charlie McDowell have announced they’re engaged!
Lily shared the exciting news on Instagram along with a series of photos of the moment Charlie got down on one knee to propose:

“I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together,” she captioned the photos.
She also shared a pic of the giant rock:
Charlie also shared a sweet message on his Instagram: “In a time of uncertainty and darkness you have illuminated my life. I will forever cherish my adventure with you.”
Charlie’s sister, whose name also happens to be Lilly (but with two L’s) posted her congratulations along with a fun fact:
“My brother got engaged and I couldn’t be happier.,” she wrote in her Instagram stories.
“And her name is Lily. And my brother is Charlie. And I married a Charlie! So now there are 2 sets of Lil(l)y & Charlie!” to which one-L’d Lily replied:
“We literally talked about this on our second date 😂”
They’ve been together since 2019.
