Emily in Paris star Lily Collins is paying tribute to her dad, legendary musician Phil Collins and his equally legendary Genesis bandmates.
Over the weekend, the group played their final concert ever at London’s O2 Arena. Taking to Instagram, Lily celebrated the bittersweet moment:
“Tonite [sic] marks the end of an era. To have witnessed this last show was truly the memory of a lifetime and an event I shall hold in my heart forever,” she begins.
“Endlessly grateful doesn’t begin to do it justice. So much love was left on that O2 stage and an even bigger amount shared between an audience who didn’t want it to end. ”
Lily goes on to thank everyone involved:
Thank you @genesis_band for the memories, thank you dad for being such an inspiration and thank you @nic_collins for making me the proudest sister there is. 50 years of songs later and still generations more to celebrate you long after this tour has finished.”
She also shared some photos and clips from the night:

The final concert was part of the band’s “The Last Domino?” Tour. Phil, who has been unwell with health issues, performed on stage sitting down. He has previously shared he has nerve damage in his hands so his son Nic stepped in to play the drums.
Genesis was formed in 1967 and Phil became a drummer and backing vocalist for the band in 1970 before taking over as lead singer in 1975.
